ORDER YOUR REGALIA [CAP-GOWN-TASSEL UNIT]
There are TWO WAYS to order your commencement regalia [CAP-GOWN-TASSEL UNIT]:

NOTE: To order basic regalia, select CAP-GOWN-TASSEL UNIT
Your regalia will be mailed directly to you from Brown’s - it will NOT come to the school.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) stoles may be purchased at Brown's Graduation Supplies or speak to the PTK advisor about a stole.

- The maximum # of tickets per graduate: TBD
- Guests with tickets need to arrive at least 30 minutes early to ensure seating.
- NOTE: Guests without tickets will be seated in overflow rooms and possibly moved to CFA if seating becomes available.

REGALIA POLICY
Graduates walking in commencement are required to wear a black cap, gown, and Persian Blue/Black Tassel. Gown must be completely zipped. Decorations on caps must be approved.
Decorations on caps must be flat and not over 1/2 inch in height - no large flowers or items.
For approval, email a picture of the cap to the graduation@asun.edu NOTE: Graduates will be asked to remove any adornment which do not comply with the regalia policy.
No personal adornments shall be worn over the gown except the commencement cords approved & provided by ASUN:
- Gold Cord / students with a cumulative 3.8 GPA
- Blue Cord / Current Student Government Association Officer
- Red, White & Blue Cord / Veterans
- White Cord / Concurrent & IGNITE
PTK shawls are provided upon paid membership to the Phi Theta Kappa honor society
TRN Nursing shawls are purchased by graduate with the *words Nursing, the RN symbol and Class. *No other words or modifications can be added to the stole.
TASSEL PLACEMENT: Before commencement ceremony, the tassel is placed on the RIGHT side of the cap, and then switched to the LEFT side at the end of the ceremony
DIPLOMA DISTRIBUTION
- Degrees & Certificates are awarded after all grades are posted and moved to history.
- Once all degrees are awarded, the diplomas are printed and mailed. Note: December graduates may experience a slight delay due to the holiday break or inclement weather.
- Student accounts must be clear of holds and have a -0- account balance to receive diplomas.
- Diploma Covers are handed to the graduate on the stage during the commencement ceremony

PRACTICAL REGISTERED NURSING CAPPING AND/OR PINNING CEREMONIES
- Capping and/or Pinning ceremonies are held to honor students who are graduating from our Practical & Registered Nursing programs. Students graduating from these programs MUST attend the Capping and/or Pinning ceremony and are encouraged to attend the commencement ceremony.
- Email Dean of Nursing and Health Professions, Stacie Hay at stacie_hay@asun.edu with questions about capping/pinning.
