In partnership with local high schools, ASUN offers courses that count for both high
school and college credit. Taught by qualified instructors and aligned with state
standards, these classes are a flexible, affordable way to ease into college-level

IGNITE Academy
The IGNITE Academy provides students from participating school districts with the
opportunity to earn workforce-ready credentials in high-demand industries—all while
completing their high school diploma. Offered on our Newport and Jonesboro campuses, IGNITE students graduate with transferable college credit and Certificates of Proficiency
in fields like Advanced Manufacturing, Welding, Aviation Maintenance, and more.
