New Student Orientation is your chance to meet with ASUN staff and other ASUN students!
Make the most of your orientation session, by completing the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (). ASUN’s school code is 042034.
Before you Sign up for a New Student Orientation (NSO) session, please apply for admission to ASU-Newport.
After your admission application is complete, please verify that all your required documents have been submitted to OneStop@asun.edu .

Is a student orientation session mandatory?
New Student Orientation sessions are highly encouraged for all first-time entering
students. Students will be able to get their class schedule, student id cards, learn
about resources for student success, academic support resources, and much more!
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are approximately two (2) hours).
What do I wear to orientation?
Dress comfortably! Participants will have the option to take a tour of the campus.
Can I bring loved ones with me to the New Student Orientation session?
Yes! Absolutely! We welcome loved ones: they are a part of your support team!
